Free Yoga & Naturopathy Camps
Mega Yoga and Naturopathy Camp was organized by Mahatma Gandhi Prakritik Chikitsa Samiti, Haryana in association with Aditya Wellness at Shree Somnath temple. More than 1200 participants got benefit from the program which included free consultation, treatments, therapy, seminars, meditation and stress management.
Divyangjan (Persons with Disabilities)
As per Census 2011, the number of Persons with Disabilities in the country are 2.68 crore, which is 2.21 percent of the total population of the Country. As per the RPwD Act, 2016, there are 21 types of Disabilities which includes Locomotor Disability, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Speech & Language Disability, Intellectual Disability, Multiple Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Dwarfism etc.
The Samiti awareness generation and advocacy to provide an accessible physical environment to everyone. To achieve this, measures need to be undertaken to eliminate obstacles and barriers to indoor and outdoor facilities including schools, medical facilities, and workplaces. The built environment not only covers buildings, but also steps and ramps, corridors, footpaths, curb cuts, parking, entry gate, emergency exits, toilets and obstacles that block the flow of pedestrian traffic.
MGPCS has successfully organized many free Eye’s Medical camp for older persons. The primary objective of the Vision for All Community Eye Camp is to provide comprehensive eye care services to underserved communities, raise awareness about the importance of eye health, and identify individuals in need of further medical attention or corrective measures.
